StorageCraft Europe: Flexible Systemwiederherstellung

StorageCraft Europe: Flexible Systemwiederherstellung

March 21

When it comes to backup, StorageCraft thinks locally first, but geographically, we’re more than just an American company. We’ve extended our reach to Japan, Australia, Europe, and more. Things can be very similar in other countries, but there are always a few distinctions. To understand what I mean, let’s take a quick lesson in film.

In Quentin Tarantino’s iconic 1994 film Pulp Fiction, Vincent Vega (John Travolta) explains to his partner that in Paris, they don’t call a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder with Cheese by its American name because of the metric system. Instead, they call it a Royale with Cheese (Actually, my sources tell me that it’s known as “Royal Cheese,” “Hamburger Royale,” or “McRoyal,” but never “Royale with Cheese”).

“You know, it’s the little differences.” Vega explains.

Vega’s point is that things are often just a little bit different in Europe. For example, did you know that in Germany, StorageCraft Hardware Independent Restore Technology (HIR) is called “Hardware Unabhängige Wiederherstellung?” Me neither…

Germany is supported by the StorageCraft European offices, which have been open since 2008 and are based in Switzerland. Their team handles support for all of Europe and has a presence in over 17 countries, in addition to Germany. Like their counterparts in America, StorageCraft Europe spends a lot of time sparking conversations at tradeshows all over Europe.

They were present even at the information technology fair CeBit 2013 in Hannover, Germany.

With ShadowProtect, it doesn’t matter what language you speak or where you come from, you can recover your data all the same—the little differences don’t matter.
