Kaseya, a leading Remote Monitoring and Management vendor and a StorageCraft Alliance Partner, recently commissioned a survey conducted by TechValidate to gain insight into the current backup and recovery landscape — you may find the results interesting, especially this little tidbit:
“Bulk of Businesses Lack a Regularly-tested Disaster Recovery Plan
Yes, a stunning 81% admit to not having a regularly-tested disaster recovery plan for their entire business. In an age where a business’ entire livelihood can depend on its data, one would think that the ability to get critical data systems up and running quickly [should they fail] would take a higher priority. At a minimum, data failure threatens a business’ well-being and ability to operate efficiently.”
The overall findings point to an opportunity-rich environment for MSPs/VARs that bring value to this segment for their customers. It’s an interesting read so get the Kaseya Market Insight paper.
