We’re excited to see industry growth, and the backup appliance market continues to grow steadily. According to the International Data Corporation, their Worldwide Quarterly Purpose-Built Backup Appliance Tracker has posted a year-over-year increase of 29.8% for Worldwide Purpose-Built Backup Appliance (PBBA) in total factory revenue. This is barely under $657.4 million of revenue in 2Q12—that’s a more than $150 million dollar total increase in revenue in 2Q12 over 2Q11; a cool 27.7% increase for our growing industry.
